MTANT Webinar Series
In lieu of the planned Annual Conference in Darwin not going ahead due to the COVID situation that emerged in late March, a series of webinars presented by leading Australian Maths Educators have been scheduled.

These sessions are being made available to NT teachers,. MTANT also welcomes participation by teachers from other areas of Australia.
Sessions will be scheduled to be delivered via Zoom on Thursdays, 3:15 pm for a 3:30 pm start (NT time). MTANT recognises the membership of interstate Maths Association members, and will offer the webinars at members’ rates. Most sessions have a cost of $5 for Maths Association members, or $30 per session for non-members ($15 / $40 for one of the sessions, for which resources will be posted to you). The Australian Mathematics Competition is an excellent enrichment opportunity for students. In this PD you will look at past AMC competition papers, discuss common student misconceptions, see how technology can be used in data analysis, learn about the resources/support available and find out about the annual AMC awards.

Join MTANT President John Bament for an informal discussion about education, Mathematics, our teaching community and John's experiences as a teacher. Teaching at a new school can be daunting for even the most experienced teachers - John will share opportunities for support and guidance, and introduce students to the supportive Mathematics community of MTANT and on a national level AAMT.
