The annual Northern Territory Board of Studies (NTBOS) student award ceremony publicly recognises the achievements of outstanding students.
MTANT sponsors the award for the top maths student, selected from the cohort of students who studied Maths Methods of Specialist Maths. The award is known as the MTANT Vic Czernezkyj Mathematics Award, named in honour of Vic Czernezkyj who was a teacher of mathematics in the Northern Territory for over 35 years. Vic was an outstanding educator who made a significant contribution to helping students achieve excellence in mathematics.
